Get to know the chef:

Hosting friends and family has always been a joy for me, even when managing a "9-5” job and raising a family. However, a life changing event encouraged me to pursue my passions for gastronomy. I attended the certified culinary arts program at College of the Canyons, that helped me master my techniques and knowledge to combine different cultures with my own through the art of cooking. 

Growing up, cooking in my home was mostly Mexican, but as my knowledge of the culinary arts expanded so did the cravings for international cuisine. During my time at College of the Canyons I was taught culinary techniques by the acclaimed Top Chef Daniel Otto. I then worked for him as an intern at The Oaks, TPC Valencia. 

Working as a private chef for the last 10 years, I’ve done it all. From creating specialized meal plans to catering private events for corporate businesses and charities. Crafting healthy foods while keeping them flavorful has been my mission and my food truck and catering services do just that. The menu provides an option for every tastebud to be satisfied. 

Through out this time my dream was to own my own restaurant and now my restaurant on wheels is a reality.

Not Yo Mama's Tacos is a newly formed food truck and catering company offering a spin on the quintessential taco; Aimed at offering high quality food, using only the best ingredients, to make a healthy and delicious taco. Our menu offers an array of ingredients reflecting the unique So-Cal taste. Combining traditional Mexican culinary dishes with the colorful LA culture to bring you the best of both worlds.
